Just a couple small town girls and their trip to Disney World! (Sing to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing.") I had to ya'll. I couldn't help it.
Anyways, now that that is out of the way, we can tell you about our wonderful travels!
Natalie was hired by a friend and fellow photographer to do a family session in Orlando, Florida at Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The opportunity, was ever so graciously, extended to me by Natalie as she offered to pay half of my way! (I don't deserve her.) It was a 3 day vacation, but, BOY, was it jam packed! We adventured from sun up to sun down.
The first night we found an amazing spot in Disney Springs called Homecomin'. After having not eaten all day we shared the chicken and donuts and it was absolutely splendid. We also ordered a yummy drink called the "Purple Lamborghini," which came is the amazing "Food is Love" bottle you see me sipping out of in front of Cinderella Castle! It was such an amazing place we went back the next day!
The shoot was the next morning at sunrise! We had such a wonderful time taking photos of Ashlan and her beautiful family on Main Street, USA. Natalie and I geeked out that we were on a street with the same name as our street back home! How special! We spent the rest of the day taking every recommendation Ashlan gave us, as she has been to Disney World COUNTLESS times! She sure didn't lead us astray.
The next day we went to Epcot. They were having the International Food & Wine Festival! Although we didn't participate in that, we definitely took part is some AMAZING food from all around the world! Natalie & I are huge foodies, so this was definitely the most "magical" part of the trip for both of us! Hehe. We flew out that night and got back home at 1am!
It sure is nice to be back home and back at the shop, but I think a part of our hearts will always be in Disney World. I don't think either of us expected to love it as much as we did. We look forward to going back as soon as possible, and having a longer trip!
